A magistrate's papers weren't meant to be opened by just anyone. The Magistrate is the only men's leather briefcase in our lineup with an actual lock — a brass push-latch that keeps the flap shut until you turn the key. Inside, three separate compartments plus a rear zip pocket keep a laptop, files, and a tablet from competing for space. The detachable strap goes crossbody or over a shoulder; take it off and it's a clean hand-carry case for the boardroom. Full-grain leather, vintage in build.

Care Instructions
  • Wipe down with a dry cloth every so often to keep dust and surface oils from building up.
  • Condition every few months with a small amount of natural leather balm, then buff off the excess.
  • If it gets wet, let it air-dry away from direct heat.
  • Some darkening and softening with use is normal — that's the leather breaking in.
